Science in big-scale

22/06/2016

First batch of large-scale nanoparticles for remediation of heavy metals in groundwater are being produced in UDE. These particles are planned to be injected in next two weeks in two fields (Spain and Portugal). In total, ca. 60 cubic meters of nanoparticle suspension will be used in this step, to evaluate the efficiency (performance) of the Iron oxide particles in immobilizing heavy metal contamination under field conditions.IMG_8485IMG_4867
